Mindfulness Training
I have 13 years of experience in the areas of mindfulness, meditation, and the interplay between personal psychology and spiritual practice. Prior to training in the counseling field, I spent three years practicing and studying at the monastery of Pema Chödrön, in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Following my monastic studies I engaged in intensive meditation practice in short and long term group and solitary retreats. Naropa University, from where I earned my Master Degree, is a contemplative university focused on mindful awareness in all aspects of psychological learning and practice.
